Thursday, April 29 Campfire cooking sessions with Johnny Nix Moonlight Ride in the evening
Friday, April 30 Farm riding on your own throughout the day Free time to visit and shop Historic Culpeper (10 min. drive to town) Clinics and seminars throughout the day (times and subjects to be announced) Campfire cooking sessions with Johnny Nix Picnic style supper Team Penning practice at 7 pm (2 free runs for each registered rider/$5 a run after)
Saturday, May 1 Trail Club Member’s breakfast Ride to Stevensburg Battlefield site Special talk about the Battle of Stevensburg by Bob Vance Clinics and seminars throughout the day (times and subjects to be announced) Campfire cooking sessions with Johnny Nix BBQ supper
Sunday, May 2 Depart at 7 am and trailer to Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria, VA (optional) Breakfast at the lodge from 8:30-9:30 (*optional- reservations for meal required) Trail riding in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains Lunch at the lodge from 1-2:30 (*optional—reservations for meal required) Ride on your own
Event Regulations: • PRE-registration is required at least one week prior to ride. NO gate registrations accepted. • Signed liability release required for everyone, parent/guardian signature required for minors under 18. • Ride fee must accompany application. Payments may be made by Visa/MasterCard, Discover or check. Checks payable to GMA. (Transaction on card statement will appear from “Graves Mountain Arena, LLC”) • Mail application & fees to: Best of America by Horseback 17275 Germanna Hwy. Culpeper, VA 22701 or register online. • No Refunds. No Transfers. • We will ride rain or shine. Ride schedule will be available on our website. • BOABH film/photography crew will be on site. Please dress and act appropriately (no tank tops or shorts please). • A confirmation/receipt will be mailed or emailed to you. • Friday and Saturday evening suppers are included in the registration fee • Camping is ALL primitive. No hook-ups. Water is available for filling up tanks and buckets. Riders are responsible for providing their own portable corrals or electric fences. • Riders are responsible for own meals, except for Friday and Saturday evening suppers. Local restaurants are only a 10-15 minute drive away.
